MANCHESTER, N.H. — With the general election over, the countdown is on to remove political signs in New Hampshire. According to state law, “All political advertising shall be removed by the candidate no later than the second Friday following the election.” The only exceptions are for winning primary candidates, but this does not apply to winning general election candidates. Campaigns have until Nov. 15 to remove any remaining signs. Only those who placed the signs are allowed to take them down. Derry Town Clerk Cristina Guilford said some candidates collect and reuse the signs.
