A full closure of Interstate-91 south in the Fairlee-Bradford area will remain in effect throughout the summer and into the fall. The closure will remain in place until further notice. All southbound traffic will have to exit the interstate at Exit 16 and detour on U.S. Route 5 to Exit 15 in Fairlee. Traffic control measures along the detour route will include temporary signals at the intersection of U.S. Route 5 and Bridge Street. Delays may occur, particularly in the morning and afternoon commuting hours. The signed detour will utilize Vermont Route 25A, U.S. 5, and Lake Morey Road. Rolling roadblocks on the northbound side of the interstate will be in effect Monday through Friday this week (September 9-13) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Scaling on the current section of ledge will continue throughout the week.
