LISBON — The New Hampshire Board of Education last week accepted Lisbon Regional School District’s 35-page withdrawal report. The proposal advances to the annual meeting in March. If approved by voters, LRSD would withdraw from SAU 35 and form its own school administrative unit effective July 1, 2026. In a statement, the LRSD withdrawal study and planning committee applauded the state board’s decision. The statement concludes, “The Planning Committee is looking forward to presenting our findings to the local tax payers at the Annual School District meeting in March where the decisions that affect our students will take place; it is at the local level where our students are best represented.”
