GEORGIA Vt. – Multiple people were sent to the hospital Tuesday after a crash involving five vehicles, including a fire truck. Vermont State Police say it started with a two-car crash on Interstate 89 in Georgia just before 5 p.m. The St. Albans Fire Department responded to the scene, but police say a car then collided with the fire truck. Those injured in both crashes were taken to Northwestern Medical Center in St. Albans for treatment. The southbound lanes were shut down for an hour and a half while the scene was cleared.
